Tony Gral - President

Mr. Gral hails from the Milwaukee area where he has spent his life.  Thus, what better place to open his store than right here in the middle of downtown Milwaukee?  Growing up on a strict diet of Depeche Mode, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys and all things synthetic, it was a cinch that he would find a way to surround himself by stacks of synths. (He now has stacks...and stacks...and stacks of synths around him!)  Music fan, musician and gear-lover are what he looks for in his employees too. Except in an accountant!

Mike Contardi - Accounting

Thankfully, Mike actually went to college AND received a degree! This is how you know he is not a musician.  Mike is able to quote movies at length and cracks dry, witty remarks making the work day easier. If someone needs "accounts receivables" - that's Mike. If you call and ask for "accounts payable" - that's a dial tone you hear.

Chris Weerts - Web Master

Mr. Weerts makes the site "do what it do". Chris also manages 808 Multimedia, a web hosting and design company. If you like the layout and interface of our site, Chris makes it all happen. If you don't, don't tell Chris. We must warn you; he has a black belt in Judo and Aikido.

Not just a computer geek (mind you) Chris is the guitarist, programmer and vocalist with Ghost in the Machine - a local favorite.

Suzy Bouxa-Gral - Operations Manager

Folks have a lot of sympathy for Suzy - being married to Tony and all!  Suzy makes sure we run a tight ship. Lucky for us she has book learnin' too. 

Somehow Suzy found her way from New Jersey to Milwaukee. (Must not be cold enough in New Jersey for some.) Regardless, we are lucky to have her maintaining order with all of these musicians around.

Eric Olsen - Manager, Sales, Support, Ads, & Graphics

Seen our cool looking ads and graphics? That would be the product of Eric. This is the man with the layout sense and artistic touch around here. Eric spends his time at Nova making sure the site looks good and helping out customers with products. When he's not at Nova, he spends most of his time writing electronic music and DJing around Milwaukee. Eric brings an extensive knowledge to Nova about Production Software, Computer Interfaces/Controllers, Software Instruments and Plug Ins, Synthesizers, Filters, and anything to do with DJing.

Matt Caton - Manager, Purchasing, Sales, Support

Chuck Coakley - Sales, and Support

Chuck runs our returns department. If something is wrong with one of your orders he is the guy that will take care of you. He is lucky that we pay him to test equipment all day long. He is another one of our staff who has had book learning and a degree.

Chuck works here at Nova during the day and works as a sound and lighting engineer at nightclubs in Milwaukee and Chicago at night. He designs and builds sound and lighting systems and dj booths for nightclubs. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the EDM scene over the years and he is approaching his 2750^th show.

Gwynne Chaplock - Graphic Design, Web Admin, Sales Support

Being one of the only women any of us know that can put up with all of us at the same time, Gwynne helps out around Nova with the Graphics and Sales Support. Gwynne spends most of her time making banners, ads and taking pictures around the store, and helping out answering the phones.

Jason Kartz - eBay, Sales and Support

Jason has been playing guitar since he was 14. Around that age he started experimenting with multi-track recording, using a make shift set up of dual cassette recorders. Years of experience have brought Jason to develop a thorough understanding of recording and production. In addition to hardware, he has an in depth knowledge on various DAWs, plug-ins and other music software. When Jason is at Nova Musik, he spends most of his time updating and maintaining our eBay auctions.

Dion Roldan - Amazon, Sales and Support

Dion (D-ON) wears many hats.  This player of breakbeats has been an avid DJ/producer in the midwest region for 16 years.  Resident DJ at Milwaukee's SOHO7.   He is also one hell of a carpenter, too.  Oh, and he's a robot.

Jason G. - Web Admin, Sales and Support

Jason has been listening, playing and making electronic music for over 15 years. His knowledge in audio equipment and DJ gear is useful when helping our customers with their questions. While keeping his ears open for new and exciting music, you will also find him jamming with friends on midi synths, bass guitars, or turntables. Oh yeah, he also likes to climb mountains.

Brian W. - Returns, Sales and Support

Brye is one of the guys responsible for making sure the correct gear you ordered is picked off our shelves and sent safely to you. Aside from his ultra accurate shipping prowess, Brye brings to the table knowledge and experience of all that is VJ and visual projection. For over five years “vjBrye” has tickled the retinas of many a punter in the Midwest club and underground music scene, having twisted pixels for both local talent and superstar DJs alike.

George G. - Returns and Support

George spends most of his time in our shipping department processing orders and managing inventory. If the warehouse isn't clean and orderly, he is usually the first person to raise a stink about it. If George is missing from the shipping department, he's probably in the studio twisting knobs on anything analog. Outside of Nova, George is one of Milwaukee's top electronic music DJ/promoter's.

Katie K. - Billing and Shipping Manager

We rescued Katie from our local GC. Katie has knowledge in pro audio, recording, software, and DJ gear. At Nova she focuses most of her time on billing, shipping and processing customer orders. Katie has a good sense of humor, strong work ethic and is sometimes called the mother of the shipping department (probably against her will). At night she is a bartender at some of Milwaukee's top bar's and club's where musician's and DJ's showcase their talents.
