Tony Gral - President

Mr. Gral hails from the Milwaukee area where he has spent his life.  Thus what better place to open his store than right here in the middle of downtown Milwaukee. Growing up on a strict diet of Depeche Mode, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys and all things synthetic, it was a cinch that he would find a way to be surrounded by stacks of synths. Well, he now has stacks...and stacks...and stacks of synths around him. Music fan, musician and gear-lover are what he looks for in his employees too. Except in an accountant!

Mike Contardi - Accounting

Thankfully, Mike actually went to college AND received a degree! This is how you know he is not a musician. Mike is able to quote movies at length and cracks dry, witty remarks making the work day easier. If someone needs "accounts receivable" - that's Mike. If you call and ask for "accounts payable" - that's a dial tone you hear.

Chris Weerts - Web Master

Mr. Weerts makes the site "do what it do". Chris also manages 808 Multimedia, a web hosting and design company. If you like the layout and interface of our site, Chris makes it all happen. If you don't like the way the site works don't tell Chris. We must warn you; he has a black belt in Judo and Aikido.

Not just a computer geek (mind you) Chris is the guitarist, programmer and vocalist with Ghost in the Machine - a local favorite.

Suzy Bouxa-Gral - Operations Manager

Folks have a lot of sympathy for Suzy, being married to Tony and all & Suzy makes sure we run a tight ship. Lucky for us she has had book learnin' too. 

Somehow Suzy found her way from New Jersey to Milwaukee. It must not be cold enough in New Jersey for some. Regardless, we are lucky to have her maintaining order with all of these musicians around.

Eric Olsen - Manager, Sales, Support, Ads, & Graphics

Seen our cool looking ads and graphics? That would be the product of Eric. This is the man with the layout sense and artistic touch around here. Eric spends his time at Nova making sure the site looks good and helping out customers with products. When he's not at Nova, he spends most of his time writing electronic music and DJing around Milwaukee. Eric brings an extensive knowledge to Nova about Production Software, Computer Interfaces/Controllers, Software Instruments and Plug Ins, Synthesizers, Filters, and anything to do with DJing.

Matt "C.H.U.D." Caton - Manager, Purchasing Agent, Sales, Support

Chuck Coakley - Sales, Returns and Support.

Chuck runs our returns department. If something is wrong with one of your orders he is the guy that will take care of you. He is lucky that we pay him to test equipment all day long. He is another one of our staff who has had book learning and a degree.

Chuck works here at Nova during the day and works as a sound and lighting engineer at nightclubs in Milwaukee and Chicago at night. He designs and builds sound and lighting systems and dj booths for nightclubs. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the EDM scene over the years and he is approaching his 2750^th show.

John Petroviak - Billing, Shipping and Inventory Manager

John verifies credit cards, manages inventory, and supervises the shipment of outgoing and incoming products. He is not only a shipper, but a musician as well.

John is a self taught keyboardist inspired by such artists as "Ulrich Schnauss" and "Casino Versus Japan".

Brian Ward - Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory

Brye is one of the guys responsible for making sure the correct gear you ordered is picked off our shelves and sent safely to you. Aside from his ultra accurate shipping prowess, Brye brings to the table knowledge and experience of all that is VJ and visual projection. For over five years “vjBrye” has tickled the retinas of many a punter in the Midwest club and underground music scene, having twisted pixels for both local talent and superstar DJs alike.

Jason Samonik - Consulting

Jason is extremely passionate about electronic music production. Completely submersed in the field for over 17 years, he has had the privilege of owning and extensively working with every major piece of gear used in music technology and recording production. Jason is the current studio owner of The Shell Studio in Milwaukee (http://www.theshellstudio.com). For the past 6 years he has been the gear & production consultant for Nova Musik.

Jason is efficient, great under pressure, and very easy to work with and he makes learning complex technology enjoyable and fun.

Joel Berrentini - Weekend Sales & Support

Some days are busier than others and that's where Joel comes in. A professed Front Line Assembly fan; he also brings in a ton of knowledge. As a pro cyclist freak for speed he is our most dangerous sales person. If you live dangerously and have PC questions on Saturday you'll want to speak with Joel. Thankfully, he adds a lot of web knowledge being a web designer to boot.
